Drachenwand mountain
The via ferrata at Mondsee are an Eldorado for everyone who wants to climb high. If you love climbing, you will love the via ferrata on the east side of the Drachenwand. It traverses an altitude gain of 400 metres and is only suitable for experienced climbers. Approximately 60 per cent of the route reaches difficulty level B, 40 per cent leads across level C terrain. Along the way you will encounter steep steps, crossings and a suspension bridge. Once you have completed the medium-difficulty route, you will be rewarded with a magnificent, panoramic view of Lake Mondsee and the surrounding mountains from the summit!
The climbing hall on Lake Mondsee
